Yvonne Orji Says A Film For ‘Insecure’ Series Won’t ‘Happen’

As previously reported, Issa Rae’s The popular HBO series ‘Insecure’ ends season 5, which is scheduled to air on October 24. Following the news that it’s the last season for the comedy-drama series many fans have asked to make a film to follow up the show.
However, star ‘Insecure’ Yvonne Orji revealed that that would not happen. In a recent interview, 37-years-old Yvonne Orji asked if Issa Rae, 36, changed his mind about ending the show whether he was open for two more seasons. He replied,
“[Yes], 2 more seasons and movies. ”
“Apan [Issa’s] didn’t make a movie and he didn’t do it two more seasons. That’s right, no reason. Because of that calling doesn’t happen. ”
‘Insecure’ aired in 2016 and it had no commitment Issa Rae’s hit the web series ‘Awkward Black Girl.’ Yvonne Orji Molly Carter is shown in the series who is the best friend Issa Rae’s kinaiya, Issa Dee. In 2020 Yvonne Orji Received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Satisfied Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance in the show. That same year ‘Insecure’ received eight Primetime Emmy Award nominations for the fourth time.
