Popular TikTok maker Stacey Pentland died Thursday after a battle with terminal cancer.
The mother of four has grown to online fame after she was diagnosed with the disease last year and decided to document her fight against the disease. He is only 37 years old. A sad message confirming his death was posted on Pentland’s account last week that read:
“With great sadness I have to tell you that our beautiful Stacey passed away this afternoon at 20 to 2. May I ask you to respect the privacy of the family in this difficult time. ”
So, very sad …
Many of Stacey’s friends and fans took to the comment section to mourn their beloved friend and “inspiration,” writing:
“Those little videos every day [will] I miss you too. ”
“No more pain, anxiety, and suffering for the beautiful woman I haven’t met but I feel like I know.”
“No words, sorry for her and her family. Flying high, Stacey, the most amazing woman I’ve ever seen in my life.
“It was very heartbreaking oh stace I’m so sorry I don’t have words that are unfair to your children and family today. ”
“A real inspiration. I will never forget Stacey Pentland while I am still alive.
“RIP you beautiful soul, thank you for your courage and take us all on your journey.”
Stacey, who lives in Newcastle, England, joined TikTok in April 2020, at the time she was diagnosed with cancer. She has garnered more than 200,000 followers as well as 5 million likes on her videos, which often include updates on her treatment and health, discussion of her family life, and daily activities. His last video, which was shared on Nov. 15, paints a sad picture.
Struggling to speak and with a tube of oxygen in her nose, mom explained that she woke up very early in the morning and decided to make breakfast. But soon, she found herself feeling weak and literally “crawling up the stairs” to her room, feeling out of breath when she reached the top. Listen to her explain the situation (below).
Stacey is survived by her husband and four children, whom we love dearly in this disastrous time. May Pentland rest in peace knowing that he and his brave fight have made an impact on many spectators. RIP
