#Roommates, even if many are shocked and saddened when Rory and Mal Joe Budden’s previous podcast has come out-the two not only launched themselves, but now they’re officially leveling up to a whole new deal. During a recent interview, Rory and Mal confirmed their new partnership with SiriusXM’s Stitcher, officially signaling that they are leaving the past and their future seems bright.
Rory and Mal seem to be sure landed at their feet after their departure on Joe Budden’s podcast. @Complex reports, Rory Farrell and Jamil “Mal” Clay’s independent podcast “New Rory and Mal” was officially picked up by SiriusXM’s Stitcher, to be released via Stitcher’s More Sauce Label. In addition, Rory and Mal will also be doing a series of live podcast shows in both New York and Los Angeles this November with more planned for 2022. However, the most important part of the announcement revealed by the duo that they will continue to be 100 % owner of the show.
Talking about the new partnership, Mal said that “There are other offers that have a lot of money on the table, but they don’t fit what we want to do. We don’t feel the same connection with other people.” that “some new elements” will be brought to their podcast, including sketches and different methods of interviews because fans are “really surprised by the sketch stuff and other stuff we added. “
Meanwhile, Rory clarified the vision for the show, saying “I’m glad the creative agenda for this show is to push the show rather than push a particular person forward. There’s a lot that can be done. we when the egos are stripped, if our real focus is not a personality, it’s the show. That’s what I enjoy. “
You can check out the first episode of Rory and Mal’s podcast under their new deal on November 1st and episodes will be released every Tuesday and Friday thereafter.
