Madonna’s IG Post She Was Burned For Allegedly Exploiting Free Work, Glorifying Domestic Violence, and Performing Cultural Appropriation

Famous entertainer Madonna, 63, faces backlash for allegedly taking advantage of free work from artists, making cultural appropriation, and glorifying domestic violence. Yesterday, November 21, Madonna shared a thank you post via his IG page to show gratitude to the people who helped create for his collaboration with V Magazine. The ‘Material Girl’ singer recently graced the cover of the magazine and was featured in a Marilyn Monroe-inspired spread as well.
In his thank you post, Madonna shared photos of himself shaking cornrows as he stood next to the photographer from the magazine shoot, Steven Klein, 56. In one of the pictures, Steven Klein seen holding a knife by Madonna tutunlan. In his caption, Madonna revealed that many of the people who helped with the photoshoot were not paid for their time and work. He wrote,
“Proud of my collaboration with @stevenkleinstudio For @vmagazine and knowing that against all odds And with very little support from non-artistic people who keep pushing and the fact that we do it almost zero budget we can still make ART! “
“Art isn’t dead when you’re strong enough to fight what you believe in !! Thank you to everyone who supported us and slept on the couch and worked long hours and free everyone who supported madame [red X emoji] which is here not only to disturb the peace but to perpetuate it Alive Art I send you a BIG kiss [3 kiss emojis]! #Madame[red X emoji]”
After his post, people soon called the multimillionaire in comments for seemingly taking advantage of free labor, glorifying domestic violence, and showing cultural segregation.
Madonna has not yet responded to the accusations he faces.
