Through a statement from the Nets, the team has decided not to allow Kyrie to play part-time and she will be happy to return once she follows New York City’s vaccination orders.
Marks further explained, emphasizing that the decision about Kyrie Irving was made in the best interests of the team. “He has a choice to make, and he makes the choice. Again, my job here is to make what we consider the best decision and best options for the organization to grow as a whole. They are not always met with open arms and a thumbs up. These are difficult decisions. Like I’m sure it won’t be easy for Kyrie to have to do it too [decision] so as not to be included in his comrades, ”he said.
You may recall that the New York City vaccine order says that anyone who enters an indoor gym, such as the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and Madison Square Garden, must receive at least one shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Because of her choice not to receive vaccinations, Kyrie missed 43 regular season games and two preeason games. As a result, he was fined an estimated $ 380,000 per game.
