Drake Says He Doesn’t Like His Degrassi Character, Jimmy, Remains In A Wheelchair: All My Friends In The Rap Game Are Said To Be Soft

Before joining Money Laundering Records, Aubrey Graham, professionally known as Drake, played the character of Jimmy in the Canadian-based teen drama Degrassi: The Next Generation. Now in a new interview, runner James Hurst shows that Drake Jimmy wanted to get out of the chair.
James Hurst said he received a letter from a law firm saying the Six-god would not return like Jimmy if he remained in a wheelchair. James Hurst seemed confused to ask Drake to go see him. As he said,
“He came in and said, ‘What letter? I don’t know about that. And I said, ‘All right, I understand. But how do you feel about the wheelchair? ”
He goes on,
“He was like, ‘All my friends at the rap game say I’m slow because I’m in a wheelchair.’ And I said, ‘Well, tell your friends at the rap game that you were shot. How much harder to get? You were shot, and you’re in a wheelchair.’ He said, ‘Yeah, yeah.’ ”
Hurst said that Drake apologized. He added,
“I was very excited here, and I said, ‘Aubrey, there are some kids everywhere in a wheelchair, who are never cared for, who are never on television, never represented. I need you to represent this. man. You’re the coolest kid on the show, and you can tell there’s nothing wrong with being in a wheelchair. ‘”
