Casanova Pleads Not Guilty of Attempted Murder While His Co-Defendant Holds a Talk with Prosecutors

New legal details have come out in Casanova case. According to reports, the 35-year-old rapper pleaded not guilty to one attempted murder case he faced. However, despite his not guilty plea, in Casanova co -defendant in the case – Jarrett “Jayecee” Crisler, who is accused of shooting two people – allegedly worked on a plea deal with prosecutors.

According to TananHipHop, U.S. Attorney Damian Williams shared,

“The accused [Jarrett Crisler] and the government reached a tentative agreement. The parties are working to complete the request in this matter. ”

in Casanova The arraignment took place earlier this week, where he pleaded not guilty to new charges. As he said,

“I was given a copy of the case containing the charges against me and reviewed by my lawyer. After consulting with my lawyer, I wanted to be innocent. ”

As previously reported, New Yorker Casanova, born Caswell Senior, nearly a year in police custody on charges of participating in a gang-related racketeering case.

The alleged attempted murder incident involving the rapper took place in October 2020 outside of King of diamonds adult entertainment club in Miami. A member of the Crip gang was reportedly injured by Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation gang signs Casanova allegedly showed up, leading to recurrence between the couple.

After an argument between the men, Jarrett Crisler, a member of the Florida -based Gorilla Stone Gang, allegedly shot the Crip gang member and one of his associates.

According to reports, the two victims were taken to a local hospital, treated for their injuries, and eventually recovered.

On December 1, 2020, prosecutors from the Southern District of New York Federal Court declared a warrant for the arrest of Casanova, who they claim is a leader within the Gorilla Stone Gang. He was one of 18 alleged gang members charged in connection with various racketeering, murder, narcotics, firearms, and fraud offenses.

After the warrant was issued, it didn’t last long Casanova to surrender himself to the authorities. Earlier this month reports surfaced that a attempted murder case had been added to the charges filed against the rapper.
